How is pip value calculated?

Formula: Pip Value = (Pip Size ÷ Exchange Rate) × Units

Pip Size: 0.0001 for most pairs (e.g EUR/USD). 0.01 for JPY pairs (e.g USD/JPY).

Units: 1 standard lot = 100,000 units.

Example: EUR/USD at 1.0850, 1 standard lot: (0.0001 ÷ 1.0850) × 100,000 = $9.22 per pip
